A unique drama course where YOU run the show!
10 weeks, starting 12 Jan 2011
Wednesday evenings, 5.30-7.30pm
for 11 – 18 year olds
With an informal, script in hand performance on Friday 25 March 2011, for family and friends.
Participants devise the piece, act, direct and produce the show – taking responsibility for designing posters, advertising and marketing the event, selling tickets, serving refreshments and running the box office.
Delivered by experienced actor and director Sam Buist of Screaming Theatre and Preston Tringe Festival, for They Eat Culture, this is a great opportunity for young people to make theatre happen.
Only 15 places. Course fee: one-off payment of £85.

They Eat Culture are looking for YOUNG BLOGGERS to contribute to and host this blog.
It's a great opportunity for you to gain writing and reviewing experience and put something impressive on your CV. Or you can upload film segments to the blog.
Tell us what you're into, share your creative genius whether it's songwriting, filmmaking, making clothes, poetry or drama - or anything! And we'll provide you with opportunities to get involved.

Theatre Practice Workshop
Create your own piece of theatre from start to performance with experienced performer and director Sam Buist. Once you created your piece in a small group you will direct, act and produce it, deciding what technical or techniques can add an exciting edge and hone skills. You'll take away a DVD of your performance and some photos, too.

Watch out for workshops in zine making, alternative crafting, guerrilla gardening, DJ skills, photography, fashion, and much more.

Hire out the performance space for practice and performance at subsidised rates of only £1 a head. Specific dates apply.
